I have a 1986 pennie with a double ridge to the left side and when LIBERTY was stamped the tail was left off the L, and the I is broken In God We Trust, it looks like : ..Do you think this might have some value to it?

I HAVE A ONE DOLLAR THAT WAS CUT IN THE SHAPE OF A 7 THE TOP IS ONE SERIAL NUMBER AND THE BOTTOM LEG IS OF TWO OTHER BILLS. I am puzzled by Walter's reference to hobo nickels in conjunction with the dates he gave. There were no half dimes or nickels minted that early. In the 1850’s we were minting half dimes. In the 1950’s of course there were Jefferson nickels. The modern sized nickels started in 1866.
Hobo nickels generally refer to carved buffalo nickels which were minted from 1913-1938. If you want information on them check out www.hobonickels.org.

I have a misprinted 1950 $20 bill that has about a half inch of the front reprinted onto the back of the bill. I also have a 1929 $50 bill that has a brown seal and says national currency across the top. I was just wondering if anyone could help me figure out if they are worth anything. Thanks

My mom found a few Confederate Currancy dollars in a book. All dated from 1864. She has 1 $20 bill, 3 $1 bills, and 3 $50 bills. Are these bills worth anything still. I believe they're real because they have a different type of ink for the signatures and numbers. I would greatly appreciate to haer from you. I need to know the value of these bills.

I have two 1957A US Silver Certificate $1 bills and I was wondering if they are worth anything - one is in decent condition and still a little crisp but the back of it has discolorations from maybe going through the wash - the other is obviously worn and has a brownish tint to it due to dirt. I also have a misprint penny where the front is normal but there is nothin on the back. I would appreciate any information possible - THANK YOU!!

When my husband was about 11 years old he found a State of New York Currency Ten Dollar Bill in a car in a junk yard.It says it is printed by Samuel Loudon,in the year M.DCC.LXXVI On the other side it says This Bill fhall pafs urrent in all Payments in this State,for TEN SPANISH MILLED DOLLARS, or the Valye thereof Gold or Silver; according to the Refolution of the Convention of New York, on the Thirteenth Day of Augu, 1776 and also says Tis Death to counterfoit. Lots of good info on your coin collecting site. I have a small collection of pennies from the 40's and 50's and I think one from the 30's. My prized possesion is a 1910 that I thought for 1940 for the longest time. It has no mint mark. I found out it is the most common. In the condition it is in it's probably worth $.25 :)

I have what appears to be an oversized dime. It is a silver coin with a crowned or tiaraed head surrounded by stars except for bottom center Dated 1900. On the reverse is a "V" in a laurel wreath. Does anyone know what the heck this thing is?
